【研究業績】
口腔がん患者周術期のQOLに関する研究、口腔ケアにおけるOAGを用いた口腔環境評価の信頼性と妥当性の検討
研究内容
近年、医療は科学的根拠に基づいた医学的有効性（efficacy：効能）を検討し、診断や治療の選択が行われるようになってきた（EBM: evidence-based medicine）。しかし、人々の健康概念の変化や患者の自律性が尊重されるようになり、efficacy に加え QOL（Quality of Life）や cost effectiveness を考慮した「価値に基づく医療（value-based medicine：VBM）」が提唱されている。そこで、口腔外科診療における VBM 確立させることを目標に以下の臨床研究を行っている。
1. 口腔がん患者や口腔ケア患者を対象とした QOL/PRO (Patient Reported Outcome)のエビデンス創出。
2. 口腔がん診療における Cost Utility Analysis のための基盤的研究。
3. 高齢者口腔がん患者の診療基準の策定。
